600cc, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, air-cooled with Suzuki Advanced Cooling System (SACS), DOHC, 16-valve engine delivers impressive blend of sporty performance and excellent low-to-mid rpm range power.
32mm (1.3in.) MIKUNI BSR carburetors with Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) further enhance mid rpm range output and quick throttle response.
Stainless steel 4-into-1 exhaust system carries catalyzer to further reduce emissions (for European and Californian markets only).
Digital ignition system for optimum ignition timing with maintenance-free battery.
Dynamic bodywork, featuring wind-tunnel-tested fairing, side air outlets, front fender and raked tailpiece contributes to performance and minimizes rider’s fatigue.
Body-mounted front turn signals and eye-catching taillight blend in with the overall aerodynamic design.
41mm-inner-tube front forks with 4-way adjustable rebound damping have 130mm (5.1in.) stroke for smooth ride.
Link-type rear suspension with shock absorber has 4-way adjustable rebound damping and 7-way preload settings.
Dual full-floating 290mm (11.4in.) front disc brakes and 240mm (9.4in.) rear disc brake provide strong, responsive and smoothly controlled stopping power. 120/70-17 front and 150/70-17 rear radial tires on the lightweight, cast aluminum-alloy wheels with wide, hollow 3-spoke rims.
Thickly-cushioned seat provides comfortable ride for both rider and passenger. Large 20.0-liter capacity fuel tank.
Convenient 4.5-liter underseat storage compartment.
Easy-to-read instrument panel with twin tripmeters, LCD odometer and clock.
