Super V-Twin, Unleashed
A sleek embodiment of a simple engineering commitment of setting the performance standard in the superbike class. With the most powerful, responsive Suzuki V-Twin ever built.

With an integrated design approach delivering astonishing, groundbreaking aerodynamics. With a twin-spar aluminum frame merging optimally with the rotary damper/separate spring rear suspension. And with a host of high-quality street-riding equipment and a range of race-matched designs.

The Suzuki TL1000R. Built with the inspiration, passion and technology to fully deliver what you seek:state-of-the-art V-Twin performance.

The 996cm3 90º V-Twin engine, built with race proven designs including a radical cam timing, short intake tracts, SCEM plated aluminum alloy cylinders, lightweight conrod and torged pistons is tailored for maximum power and response.

Innovative design features such as a combination chain-and-gear cam drive, staggered transmission shafts and a short crankshaft keep the engine compact.

Performance mapped digital ignition and finely calibrated two stage fuel injection, along with a large airbox and large volume muffler, keep the engine operating at its maximum potential.

Dual radiators, a liquid-cooled oil cooler and a large diameter, hydraucally activated back torque limiting clutch with ample plate surface optimally handle the engine power.

A integrated design approach delivers superior aerodynamics: short intake tracts create space for a large airbox and a fuel tank shaped to allow the rider to fuck in to reduce frontal area, large volume mufflers are positioned for smoother airflow and two radiators instead of one keep the frontal area smaller.

Performance-boosting aerodynamics include a lift-reducing front fender, turbulence reducing tailsection, flow-maximizing, turbulence minimizing ran air intakes and hot-air exhaust ducts and a sharply slanted fairing with a V-shaped above view tailored to keep airflow around the rider as smooth as possible.

The twin-spar aluminum frame featuring large extruded main spars, together with braced aluminum-alloy swingarm, provide the rigidity that supports state-of-the-art sports performance.

The 43mm inverted fork comes with externally adjustable spring preload and compression and rebound damping. It is held by lightweight aluminum triple clamps and steering stern. A steering damper is equipped.

The innovative rotary damper rear suspension includes an automatic compensating system to maintain consistent damping across a wide range of operating temperatures.

Cast-aliminum wheels each carry advanced design 120/70 ZR17 front and 190/50 ZR17 rear radial tires.

The braking system features floating-mounted 320mm stainless-steel front disc brakes with staggered-diameter, six-piston calipers and a 220mm rear disc brake.

The compact instrument panel includes a temperature display and self-diagnostic fuel injection display.

A storage compartment located in the tail section is large enough to carry an anti-theft U-lock.
