Everything was new to the Suzuki GSX-R750 2000 (16th version of the model). The engine and chassis have been completely redesigned. Is more aerodynamic fairing, lower overall height 30 mm, longer swing arm, wheelbase, brake pistons 4 (instead of before the piston 6), smaller rear wheel (back to 5.5 “), the shorter and narrower redesigned fuel injection and about 13 kg lighter motor.
The engine has intake valves and exhaust valves 12º 13º, both a narrow degree for a more compact combustion area, allowing a significant compression ratio 12.0.
The stock is reduced by about 7.5 mm length and head cover is made of lightweight magnesium. The cylinders are integral with the upper crankcase reduced weight and size.
The crankcase dinstintivo continues with three-piece design. All these contribute to a shorter engine 15 mm in length, 8 mm narrower and 5 kg lighter, achieving the goal of a lightweight, compact design at the Suzuki GSX-R750 2000.
Feeding optimal fuel to the engine, is the new electronic fuel injection system with double butterfly valve and electronic control valve, increased torque and power, as well as increased combustion efficiency, which also contributes to a gases emissions cleaner.
The new chassis on the Suzuki GSX-R 750 2000 is much lighter and swingarm has been lengthened 20 mm, the wheelbase remains at 1,400 mm for better handling and traction control.
