The best performance in its class, the Suzuki GSX-R600 2012
A lightweight chassis with a compact distance between axles and suspension developed in the competition.
The Suzuki GSX-R600 2012 uses forged pistons lighter and longer lasting designed by the same FEM (Finite Element Method) and fatigue analysis technology employees to develop MotoGP racing engines. Shorter and narrower skirts, narrower bolt accommodations and shorter bolts help to ensure that each piston is 78 grams lighter. This greater lightness of the piston is translated into the corresponding lower weight, while reducing mechanical losses is improved throttle response, acceleration and the output delivered to the rear wheel.
Suzuki GSX-R600 2012 Intake valves titanium 27.2 mm diameter measured while the exhaust valves titanium 22.0 mm diameter measured. New camshaft profiles provide a valve lift curve to improve throttle response, torque halfway rpm and maximum power while also preventing the valve spring exertion at high rpm. The cam profiles are designed using advanced technology developed by Suzuki engineers in ultra revving MotoGP racing engines.
The Suzuki GSX-R600 2012 is the first production motorcycle that benefits from this technology derived from MotoGP competition.
Track in this translates into better output angles and higher top speed. On the street, it means the Suzuki GSX-R600 2012 does not have to be revolutionized both in accelerating briskly from standstill.
For the first time, the Suzuki GSX-R600 2012 comes with the revolutionary inverted front suspension system BPF (Big Piston Front-fork) developed at Showa competition. Conventional front forks use a cartridge closed mounted inside the bar and are on each side incorporating a piston 20 to control the damping mm.
The Suzuki GSX-R600 2012 comes equipped with fully floating brake discs 310mm front and new monobloc Brembo 4-piston radial-mount. 32 mm pistons Tong are willing to promote a uniform pad wear by hanging compensation piston relative to the center of the tablet. The monobloc design of new calipers makes them lighter and more rigid construction and increased piston area, improve braking performance by providing a more consistent and better feel at the lever operation.
The new, more compact and lightweight instrumentation installed on the Suzuki GSX-R 600 2012 is now equipped as standard with an integrated push lap times by a sequential timer and programmable indicator rpm motor. These two new facilities can be very useful in batches or during racing track for amateurs.
The Suzuki GSX-R600 2012 equips a fascinating design even more aerodynamic body and more compact. The development in the wind tunnel body of this new model was made with the pilot in place as a motorcycle fails to move very far or very well without the pilot. Work in this area has been completed bringing one new GSX-R smaller, simpler and lighter body without any loss of aerodynamic efficiency.
599cm3 4-cylinder engine with a race-proven oversquare bore/stroke ratio for an efficient, high-revving design.
The engine employs shot-peened conrods, chrome-nitride-coated upper compression and oil control rings, and pentagonal ventilation holes.
Lightweight, durable forged pistons designed using Finite Element Method (FEM) and fatigue analysis technology used for MotoGP racing engines.
Camshaft profiles for an aggressive valve-lift curve, developed using proven MotoGP racing engine technology – its first use on a production Suzuki.
Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel injection, using fine-spray 8-hole injectors for improved fuel atomization, which contributes to more complete combustion.
Advanced, MotoGP-developed transistorized ignition control circuit helps maintain more precise spark timing across the range of engine temperature.
Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) offers push-button selection of two racing-developed engine control maps to suit road conditions and personal tastes.
4-into-1 stainless-steel exhaust system with a titanium muffler, carrying a Suzuki Exhaust Tuning (SET) valve maximizing torque and improving throttle response, especially in the low-to-mid rpm range.
Race-proven back-torque-limiting clutch contributes to smoother downshifting and corner entry.
Lightweight and compact twin-spar aluminum cradle frame made of five cast sections and cast swingarm.
Race-developed, lightweight Showa Big Piston Front-fork (BPF) delivers superb feedback and consistent performance.
Single Showa rear shock features externally adjustable rebound and compression damping, along with adjustable ride height.
Electronically controlled steering damper provides lighter steering at slower speeds and more damping force at racetrack and highway speeds.
Front brakes with fully floating 310mm discs and radial-mount, four-piston Brembo monoblock calipers.
3-way adjustable footpegs, adjustable shift lever, and short fuel tank help compose a comfortable riding position.
Compact, lightweight instrument cluster with a built-in lap timer/stopwatch and programmable engine rpm indicators.
Small, simple and lightweight bodywork composing an exciting, aerodynamic styling.
Analog tachometer. LCD readouts include speedometer, odometer, dual trip meter, reserve trip meter, clock, coolant temperature/oil pressure indicator, S-DMS and gear position indicators.
Rolling-code anti-theft immobilizer system is standard in selected markets.
