The Suzuki GSX-R600 was a controversial work since its inception. Without the resources to develop a 600-class machine from scratch, the decision to adapt the chassis and the new liquid-cooled engine of the Suzuki GSX-R750 for the task was taken. As a result, the Suzuki GSX-R600 1992 shared the picture of the Suzuki GSX-R750 1992, with slight modifications, as well as the longest fairing, wheels, brakes and basic suspension.
When the bike Suzuki GSX-R600 1992 class reaches 600 in the US, based on his motorcycle Suzuki GSX-R750 1992, the resultant bike was bigger and heavier than any other market 600, but with better brakes and better suspension than other brands.
Suzuki engineers did not have enough to take full advantage of this configuration time, so the Suzuki GSX-R600 1992 reached larger than its competitive market and a slight decrease in power. For Suzuki was a great setback and stopped production of the Suzuki GSX-R600 after the 1993 model year, which would resume in 1997.
Few images are of this bike, as there are very few units worldwide this bike. Most of them “died” in tracks and units sold in series to get some street counted on the fingers. But deep searching the internet you can find some in good condition, hence we rescued some pictures.
