Did you think you had seen everything about the Suzuki GSX-R?? Well here we show you the first Suzuki GSX-R Jet in history. A Suzuki GSX-R 1100 1992 with jet turbine.
Tony Pandolfo, a powerboat pilot (speedboats) in Orlando, Florida, has spent a few dollars and seven years building this power mill.
From a turbine engine of a jet bought in a bargain from a local aerospace store, Tony Pandolfo got down to work and decided to build based on much work and effort this ingenuity. For now it is only a prototype but it has in mind perhaps to do it in production and sell a few around the world.
The engine uses the thrust of the jet to move a turbine gear that connects to the rear wheel via a complex array of connecting shafts, pinions and chains.
The Suzuki GSX-R 1100 1992 has been fitted with a longer swingarm to make the bike much more stable at high speeds. A housing has been placed for the extra oil and gas pumps of the turbine and a 24 Volt electrical system has been installed.
In the official website that the inventor has created there are several very curious videos of how this motorcycle works in the street. It is to freak out, the truth is that we can not imagine with this device running in front of the police, they would leave something scorched.
